2. About the Opportunity:
The Retirement Plan Specialist I (Financial Advisor/401k Participants) role entails providing education, guidance, and transparency to clients regarding retirement product solutions. This position supports clients by handling routine inquiries, making product recommendations, and collaborating with other specialists and relationship managers to address multi-product needs. The role contributes to the organization by helping clients navigate their retirement options effectively while working remotely.
3. Responsibilities:
Learn assigned specialty area products, including competitor offerings and regulations
Explain product options and ensure customer understanding for routine inquiries
Make product recommendations based on client needs
Identify multi-product needs and connect clients to relevant specialists
Collaborate with relationship managers and fulfillment analysts to initiate product requests
4. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent professional experience
FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65; or Series 7 and 66 licenses at time of hire
Life and Health licenses required within 60 days of hire
Minimum of one year experience in financial services
Basic knowledge of financial products related to the specialty area
Strong customer service, interpersonal, and listening skills
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office
Preferred Qualifications:
CFP and/or CRPC certification
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce.com) and digital financial advice platforms
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Estimated total compensation ranges from $70,000 to $95,000 per year
Salary typically ranges between $48,500 and $53,000 annually
Eligible for sales and/or performance incentives
Potential for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance
