About the role

As an SAP BTP ABAP consultant, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight. You will work as a full stack developer for development of state-of-the-art software applications in SAP S/4HANA cloud and On Premise.
Key Responsibilities
Apply clean code principles: execute code reviews, code inspections, unit testing, performance measurements and other quality tasks.
Perform development tasks in a self-reliant way.
Work closely with Architect, Senior Developers and other stakeholders to achieve effective design and code reviews.
Author software design and technical documentation.
Skills required
Requires minimum 5+ years of experience in developing, deploying and configuring applications on Cloud Foundry using SAP CAPM.
Requires minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in developing, deploying and configuring applications on Cloud Foundry using SAP CAPM.
Experience creating and configuring launch pad sites using BTP portal service/Launchpad Service/Work Zone.
Knowledge of BTP services like workflow management, Hana cloud, XSUAA, Document Service etc & configuring destinations to cloud and on-premise systems and using them in applications.
Knowledge about platform operations like Identity Provider configuration, assertion-based mapping for authorization, role collection configuration etc.
Experience consuming OAuth protected REST APIs in applications.
Knowledge of Java or Node JS programming language.
Experience in SAP Cloud Platform, SAP UI5 and SAP Fiori is required.
Should have excellent technical skills in Reports, Forms, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements etc.
Experience on skills ODATA, IDOC & Proxies, Workflow, HANA checks/HANA Migration etc.
Should be well versed with Object Oriented (OO) concepts of SAP ABAP.
Excellent knowledge of ABAP Debugging, SAP Code inspector & other SAP standard tools with respect to development
The candidate should have working experience in UI5, Fiori, Workflow, ADOBE / smart forms.
Should have hands on experience in Integrations with third party applications & non-SAP systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering / MCA or any equivalent qualification.
SAP Certification in ABAP Programming
