Quality Analyst

You will own quality for an AI enabled patch management platform deployed at a US university health system. The work spans functional testing of web and API layers, validation of automated patch workflows across Windows, Linux and macOS endpoints, and testing of AI driven recommendations where the output is not fully deterministic. You will write test plans the client signs off on and run UAT cycles with their IT team.
What you will do
• Write and maintain test plans, test cases and traceability against the Statement of Work and client requirements
• Execute functional, regression, integration and API testing across web UI and backend services
• Validate end to end patch workflows: detection, approval, scheduling, deployment, rollback and reporting
• Test AI generated outputs for accuracy, consistency and safe failure behaviour; log and triage hallucination or drift issues
• Build and maintain automation for regression suites (Playwright, Selenium, Pytest or similar) and API suites (Postman, REST Assured)
• Run UAT cycles with the client, manage defect lifecycle in Jira and produce release readiness reports
Must have
• 2+ years in manual and automation testing of web applications and APIs
• Strong test design skills: boundary, negative, regression and risk based testing
• Hands on with at least one automation stack and API testing tools
• Comfortable with SQL, logs and basic Linux commands for defect investigation
• Clear defect reporting and ability to speak directly with a client UAT team
Good to have
• ISTQB or equivalent certification
• Experience testing on AWS hosted applications or cloud environments
• Exposure to testing LLM or AI features
• Familiarity with patch or endpoint management tools, or healthcare and compliance heavy environments
• Performance or security testing exposure (JMeter, OWASP basics)
