Director

Role Description The Director role at Desi QnA is a full-time, on-site position based in Ranchi. The Director is responsible for overseeing overall program strategy, ensuring that mentoring, live classes, and doubt support are delivered with high quality and consistency. This role involves leading and coordinating academic and operations teams, optimizing batch structures for different learner segments, and monitoring learner outcomes and placement results. The Director collaborates on curriculum planning for DSA, full stack development, system design, and CS fundamentals, and builds relationships with hiring partners and referral networks. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing performance metrics, driving process improvements, managing budgets and resource allocation, and representing the organization in key stakeholder interactions.
Qualifications
Proven leadership and management skills, including team leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning.
Background in technology education or software engineering, with strong understanding of DSA, full stack development, and system design concepts.
Experience in program or operations management within an edtech or training-focused environment.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with ability to interpret learner and placement data to improve outcomes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with mentors, instructors, learners, and corporate partners.
Ability to work on-site in Ranchi and collaborate across multiple batches and learner segments (students, freshers, working professionals).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience in placement, recruitment, or corporate relations for tech roles is an advantage.
