Role Description This is a full-time Oracle APEX Developer role based in Bengaluru, structured as a hybrid position that combines on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility. The Oracle APEX Developer will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using Oracle APEX and related Oracle database technologies. Daily responsibilities include gathering and analyzing requirements, building interactive reports and forms, implementing business logic, and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL code for performance and reliability. The role involves collaborating closely with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables, troubleshooting production issues, and participating in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. The developer will also support deployments, documentation, and adherence to best practices in security, testing, and version control.
Qualifications
Strong Oracle APEX development skills, including building interactive pages, reports, forms, and dashboards.
Proficiency in Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL for data modeling, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful web services for integrating and enhancing APEX applications.
Knowledge of application security, authentication/authorization, and data protection best practices within Oracle APEX and enterprise environments.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control tools (e.g., Git), and agile or iterative development methodologies.
Ability to analyze requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and produce clear technical documentation.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams in a hybrid on-site/remote setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
