Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer based in Noida. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web and enterprise applications, ensuring high reliability and performance. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, creating test plans and test cases, executing manual and automated tests, and identifying and documenting defects with clear reproducible steps. The role involves collaborating closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve overall quality standards. The engineer will also mentor junior QA team members, contribute to test strategy and process improvements, and support root-cause analysis for production issues to drive continuous quality enhancement.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, with experience in planning, designing, and executing comprehensive test coverage.
Candidates should possess skills in creating and maintaining detailed Test Cases and test documentation aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
Candidates should possess Manual Testing skills for exploratory, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing across complex systems.
Candidates should possess QA Automation skills, including building and optimizing automation frameworks, scripting tests, and integrating with CI/CD tools.
Hands-on experience with common test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or similar) and version control systems.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and agile methodologies, with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work independently on complex technical scenarios.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications in QA or test automation are an advantage.
Experience in testing enterprise applications, APIs, and cloud-based solutions, and familiarity with performance,
