Manager II, Software Engineering, Infrastructure

For our client, we are seeking a Manager II, Software Engineering, Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.
This role will guide a globally distributed infrastructure engineering team focused on strengthening platform reliability, operational health, and engineering efficiency.
You will translate technical strategy into an actionable roadmap, partner with cross-functional engineering stakeholders, and drive improvements that support scalable execution across the organization.
The position also calls for building an inclusive, high-performing team while advancing automation, self-service capabilities, and AI-enabled workflows.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $154,700 – $260,000 annually
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a globally distributed Core Infrastructure team.
Own and translate technical strategy into an actionable roadmap.
Enhance operational health and reliability of infrastructure systems.
Automate and create self-service tools for engineering efficiency.
Implement AI-enabled workflows to boost engineering performance.
Model and embed company culture as the team scales globally.
Recruit and nurture a high-performing, inclusive team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years of management experience.
Experience leading and elevating the performance of engineering teams.
Strong technical background in cloud platforms and distributed systems at scale.
Proven track record leading complex technical projects and delivering measurable results.
