Job Summary
On behalf of our Indian client, we are looking for 7+ years AWS Solutions Architect The role is responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient AWS solutions while providing technical direction to engineering teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Architect end-to-end AWS solutions with a focus on security, high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Develop and maintain cloud architecture guidelines, standardized patterns, and best practices across solutions.
Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including multi-account and multi-region strategies.
Manage and govern IAM roles, policies, permissions, and cross-account access across multiple AWS accounts.
Implement federated identity and single sign-on (SSO) by integrating AWS environments with enterprise identity providers.
Configure Security Groups and Network ACLs to enforce appropriate traffic controls at the resource and subnet levels.
Establish and manage DevOps delivery practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Evaluate cloud solutions for performance, resilience, disaster recovery, security, and cost optimization.
Work closely with engineering, security, and business teams to turn requirements into practical, scalable cloud solutions..
Mentor engineering teams and support architectural and security governance.
Create architecture diagrams, solution designs, and technical documentation.
Evaluate architectural trade-offs with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
Required Technical Skills
7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, with extensive expertise in AWS.
Proven experience architecting and delivering production-ready cloud solutions from initial design through implementation.
AWS EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, and related compute, storage, and networking services.
Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, including role-based access, policies, permissions, and cross-account access management.
Cloud identity and federated access using SSO, SAML, OIDC, or similar technologies.
VPC design, network segmentation, Security Groups, and Network ACLs.
CI/CD pipeline setup and delivery.
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
Strong understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
AWS security best practices and cost optimization.
High availability and disaster recovery architecture.
Experience with multi-account AWS environments.
Preferred Skills
Large-scale AWS migration and modernization experience.
Enterprise cloud architecture standards and governance.
Cloud security architecture and network segmentation.
Enterprise identity and federated authentication.
Architecture reviews and technical mentoring.
AI Experience
AI experience is not specified as a core requirement. Exposure to AI/ML workloads on AWS may be useful but is optional.
Managerial Experience
Formal people management is not required. The role involves technical leadership, mentoring, architecture guidance, and stakeholder coordination.
Operational Experience
Production cloud architecture and support.
AWS environment governance and access management.
Cloud migration and modernization.
CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code delivery.
Performance, resiliency, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
Cloud security and network troubleshooting.
Soft Skills
Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and present cloud architecture decisions to technical teams and business leaders.
Solution design and architecture mindset with attention to trade-offs and long-term scalability.
Comfortable working with limited direction, managing uncertainty, and taking ownership of key responsibilities.
Strong documentation and mentoring skills.
Qualifications
B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization or B.C.A. in any specialization. Equivalent relevant technical education and experience may also be considered.

AWS Certified Security – Specialty
Experience
7–12 years of total industry experience, including 7+ years designing and implementing AWS cloud architectures.
