Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Cyber Security Analyst at Clear InfoSec. The Cyber Security Analyst will monitor security events, investigate incidents, and analyze logs and alerts to identify potential threats across applications, networks, and systems. Responsibilities include conducting vulnerability assessments, supporting secure architecture reviews, and assisting in the design and implementation of security controls and policies. The role involves malware analysis, threat research, and preparation of clear documentation and reports for internal teams and clients. The analyst will collaborate with engineering, operations, and client stakeholders to recommend remediation steps, improve security posture, and contribute to ongoing security awareness and process improvements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Cybersecurity and Analytical Skills to identify, assess, and prioritize threats and vulnerabilities.
Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network architectures.
Candidates should possess Application Security skills, such as secure coding principles, vulnerability assessment, and familiarity with common application attack vectors.
Candidates should possess Malware Analysis skills, including basic reverse engineering concepts, behavioral analysis, and indicators of compromise identification.
Relevant skills such as familiarity with SIEM tools, EDR solutions, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) are beneficial.
Industry certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CySA+, CISSP, or similar) are a plus.
