Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Cloud Administrator at CLEAR INFOSEC. The Cloud Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining cloud environments, including provisioning resources, monitoring performance, and ensuring high availability and reliability. Day-to-day tasks include administering cloud-based systems, performing regular updates and patches, implementing security controls, and optimizing infrastructure for cost and efficiency. The role involves troubleshooting system and network issues, collaborating with security and development teams, and documenting configurations and procedures. The Cloud Administrator will also participate in incident response, support automation initiatives, and help design scalable, secure cloud architectures that align with client and internal requirements.
Qualifications
Ability to manage cloud environments with strong skills in Cloud Administration and Infrastructure design and management.
Proficiency in System Administration and Troubleshooting for cloud-based and hybrid systems.
Experience implementing and maintaining Network Security controls in cloud and on-premises environments.
Knowledge of major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related tools and services.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles, compliance standards (such as ISO 27001), and best practices for securing cloud workloads.
Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or shell scripts) to streamline operations and deployments.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
