Product Owner

Role Description This part-time remote Product Owner role at PM - Paolo Musorella focuses on translating business needs into clear product requirements and prioritizing the product backlog. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing stakeholder input, defining user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating closely with software development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. The Product Owner will review product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support roadmap planning and release management. The role also involves facilitating communication across business and technical teams, coordinating refinements and sprint planning, and ensuring that product decisions align with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate options, and make evidence-based product decisions.
Solid experience in product management, including backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and user story definition.
Background in business analysis to capture requirements, map processes, and understand stakeholder needs.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly convey complex information.
Familiarity with software development practices and agile methodologies to work effectively with engineering teams.
Experience working as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an agile environment is highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours, and meet agreed deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Knowledge of product analytics tools, issue-tracking systems (e.g., Jira), and basic UX principles is a plus.
