Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Embedded Engineer who is passionate about electronics, microcontrollers, and hardware product development. You will work closely with our product team to develop and test embedded systems for EDIO’s repair-tech devices, including the EDIO Smart Clone Tool.
Responsibilities
Develop and test firmware for microcontroller-based products.
Interface sensors, displays, memory devices, and other electronic components.
Work with communication protocols such as UART, I²C, SPI, USB, and CAN.
Debug hardware and firmware issues using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analysers.
Assist with PCB testing, component selection, prototyping, and product validation.
Prepare technical documentation, testing reports, and firmware updates.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and electronics-repair teams.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Embedded C/C++.
Understanding of microcontrollers such as ESP32, STM32, Arduino, AVR, or PIC.
Familiarity with digital and analogue electronics.
Understanding of UART, I²C, SPI, PWM, ADC, and GPIO.
Ability to read circuit diagrams and component datasheets.
Basic soldering and hardware-debugging skills.
Strong interest in developing real-world electronic products.
Good to Have
Experience with PCB-design tools such as KiCad, Altium, or EasyEDA.
Knowledge of RTOS, IoT, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi communication.
Experience working with EEPROM, Flash memory, or firmware-programming tools.
Personal, academic, or internship projects involving embedded systems.
Familiarity with Git and version control.
Qualification
BE/B.Tech/Diploma in ECE, EEE, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field. Skilled freshers with strong embedded-system projects are encouraged to apply.
