Job Description
We’re looking for an engineer-researcher hybrid who is equally comfortable whiteboarding novel model architectures and writing production-grade code.
In this role, you will prototype cutting-edge AI solutions, harden them for scale, and build the platform primitives across data, services, and tooling that enable rapid experimentation and reliable delivery.
What You’ll Do
Research & Prototyping
Rapidly explore and benchmark new ML/GenAI techniques
Build proof-of-concepts that demonstrate business value
Platform Architecture
Design microservices, data pipelines, and model-serving infrastructure
Build systems that meet demanding performance, latency, reliability, and cost targets
MLOps & Developer Experience
Build CI/CD, automated testing, and observability for models and services
Work with GitHub Actions/Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Prometheus/Grafana
Performance Engineering
Profile and optimize model inference across GPU/TPU environments
Improve data throughput and overall system reliability
Drive capacity planning and chaos experiments
Security & Compliance
Embed DevSecOps, data privacy, and governance controls across the ML lifecycle
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with data scientists, product managers, and Revenue Operations SMEs
Translate research into scalable features and actionable insights
Technical Leadership
Contribute to technical roadmaps
Publish internal technical papers
Mentor engineers
Represent MediaMint in open-source and technology communities
What You Must Bring
10+ years of software engineering experience with significant experience in AI/ML systems, including training, inference, data engineering, or ML platforms
Strong Python expertise and proficiency in at least one of Go, Rust, or Java
Strong Linux fundamentals
Full-stack development experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React/TypeScript
Experience building scalable REST/GraphQL APIs and cloud-native backend services
Deep understanding of at least one cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
Experience with model-serving stacks such as Triton, TorchServe, or KServe
Infrastructure-as-Code proficiency with Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
Strong CI/CD experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills across network, compute, data, and application layers
Ability to debug complex distributed systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate research and engineering trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bonus Points
Publications or patents in ML/GenAI
Experience with vector databases, feature stores, or online/offline experimentation platforms
Familiarity with AdTech, MarTech, or Revenue Operations
