Support Specialist- Utilization Review

Role Overview
As a Support Spec- Utilization Rev, you'll be a vital part of our Utilization Review team, ensuring time-sensitive authorization tracking and resolution processes run smoothly. You'll work closely with third-party payers to obtain and track approvals, denials, and additional information requests within our EMR system, directly contributing to efficient patient care and operational success.

What You Will Do
Obtain and track approvals, denials, and additional information requests from third-party payers within the EMR.
Ensure timely resolution of authorization processes to support patient care and operational efficiency.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve department outcomes.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/G.E.D.
Working knowledge of computers and software systems.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in healthcare.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Epic.
