Registered Nurse - Outpatient Infusion Center

Scheduling Requirements: Availability for 1-3 days per week between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, one weekend every 4 weeks (Saturday and Sunday, 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM), and one winter holiday and one summer holiday (7:30 AM to 12:30 PM).
The Outpatient Infusion Center provides specialized care to a diverse patient population requiring a variety of intravenous medications and therapies. Services include iron infusions, biologic therapies, intravenous antibiotics, hydration treatments, and other non-chemotherapy infusion services.
The clinic is primarily nurse-managed, with front desk staff supporting patient scheduling and coordination. Registered Nurses are responsible for administering infusion therapies, initiating and maintaining peripheral IV access, performing PICC and midline dressing changes, and accessing and deaccessing implanted ports. Nurses also monitor patients throughout treatment and provide education to support safe, effective care.

Role Overview
As an RN- Cont I, you will lead the coordination and delivery of compassionate, quality patient care. Utilizing the nursing process, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring patients and families receive the support they need. Your role is vital in communicating with the healthcare team and finding solutions to meet patient goals.

What You Will Do
Lead the coordination and delivery of compassionate, quality patient care.
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
Identify and implement solutions for variances from patient goals.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
Health care provider certification (BCLS).
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN preferred.
