Role Overview
As a Support Specialist - Utilization Review, you'll be a critical part of our centralized Utilization Review team, ensuring timely and accurate authorization tracking and resolution. You'll work directly with third-party payers, obtaining approvals, denials, and additional information requests within our EMR system. Your role is essential in maintaining efficient operations and supporting high-quality patient care.

What You Will Do
Obtain and track approvals, denials, and additional information requests from third-party payers within the EMR.
Ensure timely resolution of authorization processes to support patient care.
Communicate effectively with payers and internal teams to achieve department outcomes.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all utilization review activities.

What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/G.E.D.
Working knowledge of computers and software systems.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in healthcare.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Epic.
