Role Description The Audio Embedded role at AIonSi is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. This role involves working closely with engineering and product teams to design, implement, and optimize embedded audio solutions for semiconductor and related applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and testing audio signal chains, integrating audio drivers and codecs, troubleshooting audio-related issues, and collaborating on system-level design decisions. The role also includes documenting audio system architectures, supporting validation and QA activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of audio performance and reliability across products.
Qualifications
Proficiency in live sound and audio engineering, with experience managing real-time audio performance and signal flow.
Strong skills in audio editing and working with audio visual (AV) systems for integrated hardware–software solutions.
Understanding of how audio solutions interface with social media platforms and digital content workflows.
5+ years of experience in embedded audio systems, preferably in semiconductor, consumer electronics, or automotive domains.
Hands-on experience with embedded platforms, audio codecs, DSPs, and relevant communication interfaces (e.g., I2S, USB, HDMI, Bluetooth).
Good knowledge of C/C++ for embedded development and familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or Linux-based systems.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, strong analytical skills, and clear written and verbal communication.
Experience in automotive audio, functional safety environments, or SoC-based audio design is an added advantage.
