Role Description The Embedded Engineer role at AIonSi is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. In this role, the engineer designs, implements, and maintains embedded software for semiconductor and IoT-related solutions, ensuring reliability and performance on targeted hardware platforms. Daily tasks include writing and optimizing embedded code, integrating firmware with hardware components, and performing systematic debugging and troubleshooting in lab environments. The engineer collaborates closely with hardware, VLSI, and verification teams to define software requirements, contribute to system architecture, and support end-to-end product development. Responsibilities also involve creating technical documentation, participating in code reviews, and following industry best practices for quality, safety, and security in embedded systems.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Embedded Software Programming and Embedded Software development for real-time and resource-constrained systems.
Candidates should possess effective Debugging skills for embedded platforms, using tools such as debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, including C/C++ proficiency, version control, and software lifecycle practices.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) concepts, protocols, and integration with cloud or edge platforms.
Working experience with microcontrollers, SoCs, RTOS, and hardware–software integration is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work in cross-functional engineering teams on-site in Bengaluru are expected.
Familiarity with automotive functional safety, semiconductor workflows, or AI-based embedded applications is an advantage.
