Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer (Solar Panels) role based in Jaipur. The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing solar panel systems, including structural layouts, mounting arrangements, and component selection to meet performance and safety standards. Daily tasks include developing CAD models and technical drawings, performing mechanical and electrical calculations, and optimizing designs for efficiency, cost, and manufacturability. The role involves collaborating with project managers, procurement, and installation teams to align designs with project requirements and local regulations. The engineer will also review field feedback, support troubleshooting, and contribute to continuous improvement of solar panel products and system designs.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong core engineering skills in Design Engineering and Product Design.
Candidates should possess fundamental Mechanical Engineering skills relevant to structural analysis and component selection.
Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills applicable to solar power systems, circuits, and safety standards.
Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating detailed models, drawings, and layouts.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
Understanding of solar energy systems, PV modules, inverters, and mounting structures.
Ability to interpret technical standards, codes, and project specifications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Jaipur.
Prior experience in solar design or renewable energy projects is an advantage.
