Commissioning Manager – Hyperscale Data Center Programme | Atlanta
I'm partnered with a leading data center commissioning consultancy supporting a major hyperscale data center programme in Atlanta, and they are looking to hire an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning delivery across large-scale mission-critical projects.
This is a permanent position supporting projects from L1 through L5 commissioning, with the majority of L1-L3 work completed remotely, before transitioning onsite for L4/L5 commissioning, startup and turnover.

L1-L3 primarily remote, onsite required for L4/L5 execution
Base salary up to $200,000
Performance bonus
Approximately $5,000/month per diem
$2,500 mobilisation + $2,500 demobilisation

Key Responsibilities
Lead L4 & L5 commissioning activities from planning through startup, testing and final turnover.
Develop and review L4 commissioning test scripts, sequences of operation and commissioning procedures.
Lead Integrated Systems Testing (IST), Functional Performance Testing (FPT) and commissioning execution onsite.
Coordinate commissioning activities with GCs, subcontractors, vendors, owners and project stakeholders.
Manage commissioning teams, issue resolution, documentation and successful project handover.
Ideal Background
Minimum 2 years' data center commissioning experience.
Proven experience leading L4/L5 commissioning on hyperscale or mission-critical data center projects.
Strong understanding of critical power and mechanical systems, commissioning documentation and turnover.
Experience writing L4 test scripts, understanding sequences of operation, and managing commissioning teams through project completion.
Background with a commissioning consultancy, GC or AE firm supporting data center projects is highly preferred.
