Fire Safety Manager / Fire Engineering Director

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Fire Safety Manager / Fire Engineering Director to lead fire safety management, fire engineering, compliance, and risk mitigation across commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties.
Key Responsibilities
Lead fire safety management, fire engineering, inspections, and compliance programmes.
Manage fire protection systems, life safety systems, emergency equipment, and related assets.
Develop and implement fire safety plans, procedures, inspections, testing, and maintenance programmes.
Manage fire safety consultants, contractors, service providers, and specialist teams.
Ensure compliance with fire codes, building regulations, statutory requirements, and authority approvals.
Conduct fire risk assessments, audits, inspections, investigations, and compliance reviews.
Coordinate fire drills, emergency response, evacuation planning, incident management, and corrective actions.
Review fire protection designs, engineering proposals, technical submissions, and system upgrades.
Manage fire safety contracts, testing programmes, certifications, records, and vendor performance.
Support new developments, renovations, fit-outs, handover, and fire safety approvals.
Drive improvements in fire protection, life safety, compliance, risk control, and emergency preparedness.
Requirements & Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Fire Engineering, Building Services, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in fire safety management, fire engineering, building compliance, or a senior fire safety role.
Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, fire codes, life safety, emergency planning, risk assessment, and statutory compliance.
Strong leadership, technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in fire safety management systems, inspection/reporting tools, AutoCAD, Excel, or relevant technical software.
Experience managing consultants, contractors, authorities, service providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, institutional, or large-scale properties is preferred.
