Role Description The Assistant to Vice President Sales supports the VP Sales in managing day-to-day sales operations, coordination, and administrative tasks. This contract role is based in Kanpur in a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility. Responsibilities include preparing reports and presentations, maintaining sales documentation, scheduling meetings, and coordinating communication between the VP Sales, internal teams, and clients. The role involves handling phone and email inquiries, tracking sales activities, organizing records, and ensuring timely follow-ups on leads and key accounts. The assistant may also support the preparation of proposals, maintain CRM or sales databases, and assist in arranging travel, events, and client visits.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Administrative Assistance and Clerical Skills to manage documentation, scheduling, and record-keeping efficiently.
Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette and Communication skills to handle client interactions, internal coordination, and follow-ups effectively.
Candidates should possess Executive Administrative Assistance capabilities to support senior leadership with reports, presentations, and confidential information.
Candidates should possess basic computer skills, including proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software).
Relevant experience in sales support, operations, or administrative roles, preferably in infrastructure, manufacturing, or technology sectors, is beneficial.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a hybrid setup, and comfort managing multiple priorities are important.
A diploma or degree in business, administration, commerce, or a related field is advantageous but not strictly required if experience is demonstrated.
