Role Description The Tendering Engineer role at HPIPL is a full-time remote position focused on managing the end-to-end tendering process for parking infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing tender documents, analyzing technical and commercial requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, and developing competitive quotations in line with company standards. The Tendering Engineer collaborates with engineering, procurement, and sales teams to gather accurate data, clarify specifications, and ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements. The role also involves coordinating with vendors for pricing and technical inputs, preparing bid proposals and supporting documentation, and tracking tender submissions, follow-ups, and outcomes. The Tendering Engineer is expected to maintain organized records, support negotiations when needed, and contribute to continuous improvement of tendering processes and tools.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in preparing quotations and commercial proposals for engineering or infrastructure projects.
Candidates should possess solid analytical skills for cost estimation, bid evaluation, and comparison of technical and commercial options.
Candidates should possess effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients, and for drafting clear tender documentation.
Candidates should possess knowledge of procurement processes, vendor coordination, and basic contract terms related to supply and installation.
Candidates should possess a foundation in electrical engineering or a related discipline to understand technical specifications of parking systems and automation solutions.
Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with MS Excel and tendering software, attention to detail, ability to work independently in a remote setup, and experience in infrastructure, construction, or industrial automation sectors.
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, civil, or related field) or an equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
