Role Description The Electrical Engineering Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems for advanced parking infrastructure projects. Day-to-day activities include creating and reviewing electrical layouts and schematics, performing load calculations, and selecting appropriate components to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards. The specialist collaborates with mechanical and automation teams to integrate electrical systems into automated and sustainable parking solutions, and provides technical guidance during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases. The role also involves troubleshooting electrical issues, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of system performance and energy efficiency. Regular communication with project managers, vendors, and service teams is required to ensure timely delivery and consistent quality across projects.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core principles to complex parking infrastructure systems.
Proficiency in Electrical Design, including circuit design, power distribution, and schematic development using relevant CAD or design tools.
Excellent Analytical Skills to diagnose electrical issues, interpret technical data, and optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients, and for preparing clear technical documentation.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Experience with industrial automation, PLCs, motor control, and safety standards (e.g., IEC, IS) is highly beneficial.
Familiarity with sustainable design practices, energy-efficient systems, and compliance with local electrical codes.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in infrastructure, construction, transport, or building services engineering is an advantage.
