Executive Information Technology Specialist

The specialist will perform day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of networks and systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant IT environments. Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining network security measures, coordinating with internal teams and vendors, and providing timely technical support and customer service to staff across locations. The role also involves documenting IT processes, supporting audits, contributing to technology improvement initiatives, and aligning IT practices with industry standards and data protection requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Information Technology and Network Administration skills, including experience managing servers, routers, switches, and cloud or virtualized environments.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including configuring firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and monitoring tools to protect sensitive clinical and operational data.
Candidates should possess effective Customer Service and communication skills to support internal users, translate technical issues into clear language, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, clinical research, pharma) and familiarity with ISO or data security standards is highly beneficial.
