Role Description The Data Intern role at Weskill is a full-time, remote position focused on supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will collect, clean, and organize data from various sources, assist in building reports and dashboards, and support basic data analysis to identify trends and insights. The intern will work closely with mentors and team members to document data processes, contribute to data quality checks, and help maintain data repositories. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with simple data models, preparing summary presentations, and supporting ongoing projects that rely on accurate and timely data. This role provides exposure to real-world data workflows and offers opportunities to learn industry-standard tools and practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Data Analysis and Data Analytics to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
Candidates should possess skills in Data Management and Data Modeling to organize, structure, and maintain datasets effectively.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to solve problems, identify patterns, and support data-driven recommendations.
Basic familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and introductory knowledge of data visualization tools is beneficial.
Coursework or project experience in statistics, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields is an advantage.
