Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Intern will support the design, development, and testing of AI and data-driven solutions that enhance Weskill’s training platform and learning content. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with data collection and preprocessing, implementing and evaluating machine learning models, and contributing to AI-driven features under the guidance of senior team members. The intern will document experiments, collaborate with mentors and peers, and help translate technical insights into actionable recommendations for course improvements. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent online collaboration and a proactive, self-directed work style.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software development principles.
Strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data exploration, and interpreting model results.
Exposure to Data Science concepts such as data preprocessing, visualization, and basic statistical analysis.
Understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals, including supervised/unsupervised learning and model evaluation.
Programming skills in languages commonly used in AI (such as Python), and familiarity with ML libraries or frameworks.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
Curiosity about emerging AI technologies, willingness to learn new tools, and interest in education or online learning platforms.
