About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR POWER BI ANALYST role is designed to lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced business intelligence solutions using Power BI and related technologies. The position serves as a technical expert in data analysis and BI, applying AI tools to uncover insights that enable data-driven decision-making. This role contributes significantly by shaping innovative analytics solutions, providing technical leadership, and enhancing the organization's BI capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Lead design, development, and maintenance of complex BI and data visualization solutions using Microsoft Power BI and related technologies.
Create advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and visualizations to transform data into actionable insights.
Develop data transformation and analytical solutions with Power Query, DAX, and other tools.
Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities supporting decision-making.
Apply advanced analytics and emerging AI technologies to enhance BI capabilities.
Lead major technical BI assignments across multiple projects.
Evaluate BI solution performance and recommend improvements for usability, scalability, and efficiency.
Serve as a technical expert and resource for Power BI and related BI technologies.
Provide guidance on BI methodologies and best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to translate objectives into analytical solutions.
Communicate data-driven findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Establish standards for Power BI development and BI practices.
Assess emerging BI, analytics, and AI technologies for integration opportunities.
Provide technical leadership during solution lifecycle phases.
Mentor analysts and team members working with Power BI and BI technologies.
Contribute to advancing organizational BI practices and capabilities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
8 years of professional experience in BI, data analytics, data visualization, or related disciplines.
Minimum 3 years’ experience with AI technologies supporting analytics and BI.
Advanced hands-on expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and semantic models.
Proven experience designing and implementing complex BI solutions.
Strong analytical skills for large, complex datasets.
Ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business recommendations.
Knowledge of BI principles, data visualization, and data-driven decision-making.
Experience evaluating and improving BI solution performance.
Capability to act as technical expert across multiple projects.
Familiarity with emerging AI and analytics technologies in BI context.
Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
$140,000 - $155,000 per year
