*About The Role*
Aashraya is a Delhi-based NGO with a core focus on special needs children, mental health, women's safety, and animal welfare. We are also actively working on blood donation drives, and are soon starting school drives as well. We are building our founding team and looking for a proactive, driven individual who wants to take ownership of a department and grow it from the ground up. This role offers hands-on exposure to running real projects, building a team, and shaping the direction of a growing NGO.
*Selected Candidate's Day-to-Day Responsibilities*
Take full ownership of one department and run its projects end-to-end, from planning to execution
Build and manage a team recruit the right people and onboard them
Coordinate with your team and volunteers effectively to keep projects on track
Attend weekly drives and on-ground events as scheduled
Report progress regularly and identify ways to improve how the department runs
Contribute ideas and decisions as a true founding member, not just an executor
*Skills & Qualifications*
Must-Have
Based in Delhi
Strong leadership qualities
Strong team management skills — knows how to build and lead a team
Ability to recruit and onboard people
Good team player, able to work well with others
Effective communication and coordination skills
Preferred
Prior experience in NGO work, social work, or community organizing
Experience leading or coordinating a team
