Role Description The Event Coordinator volunteer will support AASHRAYA Foundation in planning and organizing virtual and remote events that advance the organization’s mission and strengthen community engagement. This remote role involves coordinating online meetings, awareness campaigns, fundraisers, and volunteer gatherings; managing event timelines and logistics; and ensuring smooth communication with participants, partners, and internal teams. Day-to-day tasks include creating event plans and schedules, supporting registration and outreach, assisting with digital promotion, preparing basic event materials, and tracking attendance and feedback. The Event Coordinator will collaborate closely with other volunteers and coordinators to ensure that each event is aligned with AASHRAYA’s values and provides a positive, inclusive experience for all involved.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in event planning and event management to organize and coordinate virtual events effectively.
Candidates should possess strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with volunteers, partners, and participants.
Candidates should possess basic sales or outreach skills to support fundraising efforts and promote participation in events.
Candidates should be comfortable working remotely, using digital tools for scheduling, online meetings, and coordination.
Candidates should demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within timelines.
Candidates with prior experience in non-profit work, social initiatives, or community organizing will find this role beneficial.
Candidates should have a genuine interest in social impact, inclusivity, and compassionate engagement with diverse communities.
