Role Description The Internet of Things (IoT) Specialist will work full time on-site at the Aatral ESP facility in Chennai. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing IoT solutions that integrate battery systems with connected devices and platforms. Daily responsibilities include configuring IoT hardware and sensors, developing and testing software for device communication, and ensuring reliable M2M (machine-to-machine) data exchange. The specialist will analyze collected data to optimize system performance, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT capabilities into products, and document technical specifications and system architectures. The role also includes troubleshooting IoT deployments, maintaining security best practices, and supporting continuous improvement of connected energy solutions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Internet of Things (IoT) knowledge, including device integration, sensor networks, and cloud connectivity.
Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills for embedded systems, APIs, and integration with IoT platforms.
Candidates should possess experience with M2M communication protocols and frameworks for reliable device-to-device data exchange.
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for interpreting system data, diagnosing issues, and optimizing performance.
Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills for collaborating with engineering, product, and operations teams.
Experience with industrial IoT, energy systems, or battery technology is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with IoT security practices, data visualization tools, and cloud services (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT) is an advantage.
