Senior Technical Analyst

The Planet Group has recently partnered with a leading consultancy to recruit a Senior Technical Analyst on remote 3-month contract.
Position Summary:
The Senior Technical Analyst will be responsible for supporting configuration, build, validation, & release activities for the successful release of lab-based instrument data acquisition software and oversight of post-release operational/support activities.
Core Responsibilities:
Assist technical lead with instrument data acquisition software architecture design.
Request and configure on-premise and AWS cloud resources for instrument data acquisition software architecture and business workflow requirements.
Primary point of contact and technical support for the operations team and business users.
Coordination of activities with Merck teams to ensure infrastructure and software are deployable according to delivery timelines and lab migration plan.
Responsible for authoring/execution of all requirement test scripts and SDLC documentation is completed.
Interact with Merck project core and extended teams, attending meetings as necessary.
Required Skills & Experience:
Direct experience with Microsoft & AWS products, services, infrastructure.
3+ years of experience configuring and supporting lab-based instrument data acquisition software, including troubleshooting instrument & software connection issues in a pharmaceutical R&D space (GxP and non-GxP).
Strong understanding of supporting chromatography data systems with 50+ users and instruments in a pharmaceutical R&D space (GxP & non-GxP).
Demonstrated supervisory experience of small teams.
