Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, automate, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with infrastructure automation, networking, security, monitoring, and CI/CD.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
Manage cloud resources across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Implement infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.
Configure and manage compute, storage, networking, databases, and cloud services.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
Implement cloud security, IAM, encryption, and access controls.
Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application issues.
Automate repetitive infrastructure and operational tasks using scripting.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost.
Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Software Engineering, and Data teams.
Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
2–6+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform:
Experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure-as-Code technology.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls.
Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
Knowledge of IAM, security groups, roles, policies, and cloud security principles.
Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
Experience with monitoring and logging platforms.
Strong scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Understanding of containers and Docker.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Kubernetes / Amazon EKS / Azure AKS / Google GKE.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and EKS.
Experience with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Monitor, AKS, and Azure DevOps.
Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Ansible.
Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.
Experience with cloud migration and modernization projects.
Knowledge of DevSecOps and cloud security.
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar monitoring platforms.
Cloud certification such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Engineer is preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
