Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions across enterprise infrastructure, networks, applications, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with security engineering, SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, cloud security, vulnerability management, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security controls and technologies.
Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, WAF, EDR/XDR, SIEM, and security monitoring platforms.
Implement security solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
Monitor and investigate security events and potential threats.
Support incident response, threat hunting, and root-cause analysis.
Develop and tune security detection rules and alerting mechanisms.
Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
Implement IAM, MFA, PAM, encryption, and least-privilege security controls.
Automate security processes using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Integrate security tools with enterprise infrastructure and applications.
Support security architecture and technology evaluations.
Develop security standards, procedures, playbooks, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, cloud, network, infrastructure, and application teams.
Participate in security assessments, audits, and compliance initiatives.
Research emerging threats and recommend improvements to security defenses.
Required Skills
4+ years of experience in Security Engineering or Cybersecurity.
Strong knowledge of network, endpoint, application, and cloud security.
Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, and vulnerability-management tools.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, routing, and network security.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services.
Knowledge of IAM, MFA, PAM, PKI, encryption, and secrets management.
Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation.
Scripting/programming experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS, and Zero Trust principles.
