About the Role
We are looking for a Cluster Visual Merchandiser who will be responsible for creating engaging and visually compelling retail experiences across a cluster of stores.
The role involves visual merchandising, window displays, planograms, 3D store visualization, mood boards, and retail communication, while ensuring consistency with Wakefit's brand identity and customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute visual merchandising concepts across assigned stores in line with brand guidelines and marketing initiatives.
Conceptualize and execute window displays, product displays, fixtures, and in-store communication.
Create 3D visualizations and store layouts to demonstrate proposed merchandising concepts and displays.
Develop and update planograms to optimize product placement, space utilization, visibility, and customer flow.
Create mood boards, visual references, and design directions for seasonal, campaign, and store-specific requirements.
Conduct trend, competitor, and retail environment research to identify new VM opportunities and design inspirations.
Coordinate with Retail, Marketing, Design, and Merchandising teams for timely execution of VM initiatives.
Conduct regular store visits to ensure VM standards, brand consistency, and execution quality across the assigned cluster.
Identify gaps in store presentation and recommend improvements in display, space utilization, and customer experience.
Support the execution of new store launches, seasonal campaigns, promotional displays, and VM refreshes.
Maintain consistency in brand guidelines, colour palette, imagery, fixtures, and visual communication across stores.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely execution within defined timelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Interior Design, Retail Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
Relevant experience in Visual Merchandising / Retail Design / Store Design / Exhibition Design / Spatial Design.
Strong understanding of retail space planning, product presentation, planograms, and customer journey.
Proficiency in 3D modelling/design tools such as SketchUp, Blender, 3ds Max, or similar software.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or equivalent graphic design tools.
Experience creating mood boards, layouts, visual concepts, and presentation decks.
Strong understanding of brand consistency, colour, composition, visual hierarchy, and design aesthetics.
Good understanding of retail trends, competitor benchmarking, and consumer behaviour.
Willingness to travel across assigned stores for store audits and execution.
Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and project management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven retail environment.
