Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to our patients. Under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you will perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to ensure a seamless patient experience. Your work will directly support providers during examinations and procedures, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of patient care.

What You Will Do
Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience.
Obtain and record accurate medical histories to support patient care.
Measure and record vital signs, contributing to comprehensive patient assessments.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring they are ready for the provider.
Assist providers during examinations and procedures, facilitating efficient and effective care.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five years, or current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of one year of experience in clinical medical assisting, or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five years, or Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five years.
Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
