Junior Designer (Remote, Full-time)

Heads up: this role is only open to candidates based in Brazil.
Tarantula Studio is a branding and web design studio for dark, gothic, and alternative businesses. We build brand identities for tattoo artists, beauty professionals, authors, and spiritual businesses, most of them in the US.
We're looking for a junior designer who will mostly design for social media, plus some hands-on studio work.
What you'll do
Design carousels for Tarantula Studio's Instagram, and sometimes for our clients too: portfolio posts that show our work, storytelling posts, and opinion posts about branding and design.
Design with the brand assets we hand you. Logos, type, colors and photography from brands we've created, so every post looks like it belongs to that brand.
Edit videos: cut raw footage, add effects, bring static designs into video, and design captions that feel like part of the visual, not subtitles stuck on at the end.
Help with studio tasks: make small fixes on design pieces and close out brand files for delivery, so every client gets a clean, organized package.
The look
Mostly dark, gothic, and alternative, with bold, striking visuals. If your own moodboard already leans toward black, texture, and a bit of weirdness, you'll feel right at home here.
What we're looking for
A strong eye for design. We care about that more than years of experience, so recent grads and people early in their careers are welcome.
Working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator, plus some video editing experience, in whatever tool you're used to.
A good feel for typography and layout, especially in carousels, where every slide has to earn the next swipe.
Attention to detail and good organization. Delivering brand files means getting every format, size and folder right.
You're happy working inside someone else's brand system and you respect it.
Good working English, since our content and briefs are written for a US audience.
A real love for dark and alternative aesthetics. It shows in the work.
