Full-Time Corrective Exercise Specialist

Functional Practice is looking for a Corrective Exercise Specialist to help clients move better, build strength, and stay active for the long term. Our private studio combines corrective exercise and functional training with thoughtful, one-on-one care.
This is a full-time in person role for someone who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to help shape a growing team. There is potential to take on management responsibilities as the studio expands.
What you’ll do
Lead one-on-one sessions focused on strength, mobility, movement quality, and injury prevention.
Assess clients’ movement and goals, then design and update personalized programs.
Track progress, reassess regularly, and adapt sessions as clients’ needs change.
Mentor less experienced specialists and trainers through coaching, program reviews, and continuing education.
Help develop consistent training methods and a high standard of client care.
Take on opportunities to lead staff and studio operations as the team grows.
What we’re looking for
Degree in Kinesiology or related field
Experience and cetifications in corrective exercise, functional training, physical therapy, kinesiology, or a related field.
Strong assessment and programming skills, with the ability to explain your approach clearly to clients.
A collaborative, attentive coach who enjoys developing other professionals.
Physical therapists are welcome to apply. Functional Practice is a training studio; this role focuses on preventative exercise and long-term movement support rather than clinical physical therapy treatment.
