Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Designer
Work Schedule or Hours: Full-Time, 40 hrs/week (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST, Monday–Friday)

Compensation: $8–$12/hr (Estimated monthly: $1,386–$2,078)

Are you an experienced fire protection professional looking to design precise, code-compliant sprinkler layouts for diverse U.S. commercial and residential projects?
Our client is a growing fire protection organization dedicated to delivering top-tier technical designs, engineering compliance, and complete submittal packages for complex commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed fire sprinkler system layouts and shop drawings using industry-standard CAD tools.
Perform hydraulic calculations to ensure system designs meet required water density and pressure criteria.
Review architectural, structural, and mechanical plans to coordinate system routes and prevent design clashes.
Perform comprehensive plan reviews for junior designers to ensure technical accuracy and quality control.
Prepare complete submittal packages, including stock listing and material selection for fabrication.
Communicate effectively with project engineering teams to address design revisions and technical queries.
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years minimum of industry experience in fire sprinkler design.
Deep familiarity with NFPA fire sprinkler codes and hydraulic calculation principles.
Strong mechanical drafting experience using standard CAD software.
College degree in engineering, drafting, or a related technical field.
Availability to work during Pacific Time zone operational hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST).
Bonus if you have:
Specialized professional certifications in fire protection layout.
Prior experience handling complex commercial and industrial fire protection projects.
