Job Title: Estimator & Operations Coordinator
Work Schedule: Part-time (20 hours/week), Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM Pacific Time
Location: Remote — Latin America

About the Company
We are partnering with a growing commercial construction company specializing in drywall, metal stud framing, and interior finishing projects. The business works closely with general contractors to deliver high-quality estimating, project support, and operational coordination across multiple construction projects.
This is a highly visible role working directly with the business owner, combining technical estimating responsibilities with operational and administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with construction plans and specifications, and capable of keeping multiple priorities moving efficiently.
About the Role
As the Estimator & Operations Coordinator, you will support both pre-construction and day-to-day business operations. You will prepare accurate estimates, perform material takeoffs, coordinate bid submissions, and help maintain organized project records and administrative workflows.
This part-time role is ideal for someone who can move comfortably between technical construction documents, client communication, and operational tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Review project plans, specifications, dimensions, and scope requirements to prepare accurate construction estimates.
Perform detailed material takeoffs and compile project material lists.
Utilize estimating software to organize labor, materials, quantities, and final project pricing.
Draft, review, and submit formal bids and proposals to general contractors and clients.
Communicate with clients and general contractors regarding bid questions, updates, and follow-ups.
Track submitted bids, proposal statuses, and project opportunities.
Maintain organized project files, documentation, and administrative records.
Support invoicing processes and assist with accounts receivable follow-up.
Coordinate directly with the business owner to manage priorities and ensure smooth operational workflows.
Assist with additional administrative and project coordination tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience preparing construction estimates for drywall, metal stud framing, interior finishing, or related scopes of work.
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and project specifications.
Proficiency with construction estimating software and general office productivity tools.
Strong organizational skills with experience in office administration, project coordination, or operations support.
Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working directly with general contractors in the commercial construction industry.
Familiarity with invoicing, accounts receivable tracking, and project documentation processes.
Experience supporting small business owners or executive leadership teams.
Knowledge of commercial drywall, metal framing, and finishing workflows.
