Our work involves real-world investment research projects and direct engagement with fund managers, investment professionals, and investors. We are developing technology and research capabilities designed to support investment analysis, portfolio research, and wealth management decision-making.
The Role
PortfolioFuture is seeking a Scientific Advisor, Artificial Intelligence to advise the company on the practical application of artificial intelligence in asset management and wealth management.
The Advisor will provide high-level scientific and technical guidance on how modern AI methods can be applied to real investment research, portfolio analysis, and professional investment workflows.
Areas of involvement may include:
Advising on practical applications of AI in asset management and wealth management.
Providing technical perspective on how AI can support investment research, portfolio analysis, and investment decision workflows.
Advising on the use of AI in projects involving fund managers, investment professionals, and investors.
Evaluating relevant AI methods, models, and emerging technologies for financial applications.
Providing guidance on the development of AI-enabled research and analytical capabilities within PortfolioFuture.
Discussing technical and strategic questions with the founder as PortfolioFuture develops and deploys AI applications in professional investment settings.
This is a scientific advisory role and does not involve day-to-day operating responsibilities.
Qualifications
We are interested in candidates with advanced research or professional experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related fields.
Preferred backgrounds include:
Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Strong academic research record or demonstrated technical expertise in artificial intelligence.
Experience with modern machine learning methods, large language models, AI agents, reasoning systems, reinforcement learning, or related technologies.
Ability to translate AI research and technical developments into practical applications.
Prior experience in finance is helpful but not required. More important is an interest in applying advanced AI methods to real-world asset management and wealth management problems.
Advisory Experience
The Advisor will have exposure to real investment-industry applications, including projects and discussions involving fund managers, investment professionals, and investors.
The role provides an opportunity to apply AI expertise beyond academic research and contribute to the development of practical AI applications in asset management, wealth management, and financial technology.
