Role Description The Freelance Photographer will work full time on-site at Asan Innovators’ Hyderabad location. This role involves planning and executing photo shoots for marketing campaigns, websites, social media, events, and client projects. The photographer will collaborate closely with marketing, design, and product teams to understand creative briefs, develop visual concepts, and deliver high-quality images that align with brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include shooting on location and in studio settings, managing lighting and equipment, selecting and editing photos, and preparing final assets in required formats and resolutions. The role also includes organizing and maintaining a digital asset library, ensuring timely delivery of content, and contributing creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling.
Qualifications
Strong skills in digital photography, including composition, lighting, and camera operation for both indoor and outdoor shoots.
Proficiency in photo editing and retouching using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or equivalent software.
Experience in studio and on-location shoots, including setup and handling of professional lighting, backdrops, and related equipment.
Ability to create visual content tailored for digital marketing, social media, websites, and promotional campaigns.
Solid understanding of branding and visual storytelling, with the ability to translate creative briefs into impactful imagery.
Strong organizational skills for managing shoot schedules, asset naming, and maintaining a well-structured photo archive.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and respond to client feedback professionally.
Relevant experience as a photographer in commercial, marketing, or creative projects; a portfolio showcasing previous work is required.
Familiarity with basic video shooting concepts is a plus, especially for short-form digital content.
Diploma or degree in Photography, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Media, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
