Role Description This full-time, on-site Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role is based in Bengaluru. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems to ensure reliable and safe operations. Day-to-day activities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, coordinating corrective actions, and documenting maintenance work in accordance with company standards. The role also involves collaborating with operations and engineering teams to reduce downtime, optimize equipment performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will follow safety protocols, participate in root cause analyses, and contribute to maintenance planning and scheduling.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Mechanical Maintenance.
Candidates should possess experience in Maintenance Engineering and Maintenance & Repair.
Candidates should possess expertise in Preventive Maintenance and reliability-focused maintenance practices.
Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience working with industrial mechanical systems such as pumps, valves, piping, compressors, or rotating equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
Proficiency in maintenance documentation and use of CMMS or related maintenance management tools is an advantage.
Previous experience in water treatment, process industries, or similar environments is beneficial.
