Business Analyst

Role Description This is a full-time remote Business Analyst role. The Business Analyst will work closely with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for Taxcart’s tax engine and related solutions. Daily responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing existing business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement, and helping design scalable solutions that support global tax compliance. The role involves preparing functional specifications, supporting testing and validation of new features, and assisting in the creation of internal and external documentation. The Business Analyst will also participate in stakeholder meetings, present findings and recommendations, and help ensure that implemented solutions align with business objectives and user expectations.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and support decision-making.
Business Analysis experience, including requirements gathering, documentation, and solution design.
Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting complex information clearly.
Knowledge of Business Process mapping, optimization, and workflow design.
Ability to define and manage Business Requirements that align with product and stakeholder goals.
Experience working with SaaS, fintech, or tax/financial systems is beneficial.
Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar requirement and project management platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
