Role Description This full-time remote Information Technology Business Analyst role is responsible for bridging business needs with technical solutions in Taxcart’s global tax platform. The person in this role will gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, translate them into functional specifications, and collaborate with engineering teams to design and refine system features. Daily activities include mapping and optimizing business processes, performing impact and gap analyses, supporting testing and validation of new releases, and assisting with implementation and deployment activities. The Business Analyst will also monitor system performance against business objectives, contribute to product enhancements, and provide clear documentation and training materials for internal and external users.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and solution scoping.
Ability to define and manage business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
Knowledge of business process mapping, optimization, and documentation within technology-driven environments.
Understanding of information technology concepts, software development lifecycles, and system integration.
Experience working with SaaS products, financial systems, taxation platforms, or ERP integrations is an advantage.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, user story creation, and tools such as Jira or similar issue-tracking systems is beneficial.
