Role Description The Senior Business Analyst role at Taxcart is a full-time, remote position responsible for translating complex business and tax compliance needs into clear requirements and actionable solutions. Day-to-day work includes analyzing current processes, gathering and documenting business requirements, and collaborating with product, engineering, and operations teams to enhance the global tax engine and related workflows. The Senior Business Analyst will evaluate data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, and will help design and optimize business processes that support scalable, compliant international transactions. This role also involves preparing detailed specifications, supporting user acceptance testing, and communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, structured manner.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and support data-driven decisions.
Candidates should possess solid Business Analysis skills, including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to convey complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Candidates should possess expertise in Business Process design and optimization to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Candidates should possess experience defining and managing Business Requirements for technology products or platforms.
Experience with tax, fintech, e-commerce, or ERP systems is beneficial.
Proficiency with tools such as spreadsheets, requirements management software, and data visualization platforms is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across time zones.
