About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis in Dallas, TX, with a hybrid work model. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications through advanced automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of professional experience in QA automation and testing, demonstrating expertise in developing robust automation frameworks and scripts. You will work closely with developers, QA teams, and product managers to create a seamless testing process that enhances product quality and accelerates release cycles.
Qualifications
Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in QA automation and testing.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Selenium and Java for automation testing.
Proficiency with Playwright for web application automation.
Experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test scripts and frameworks.
Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
Experience with defect tracking tools, test execution, and root-cause analysis.
Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile development environments.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts utilizing Selenium, Playwright, and Java to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Execute functional, regression, and end-to-end testing to validate application features and performance.
Identify, troubleshoot, and report defects clearly and efficiently, collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
Enhance and maintain automation frameworks to improve test efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Participate in planning and review meetings to align testing strategies with project goals and timelines.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing testing processes and implementing best practices.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance requirements throughout the testing lifecycle.
Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests to facilitate rapid and reliable deployments.
