Role Description The Jr. WordPress Development Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves developing and maintaining WordPress websites, including theme customization, plugin configuration, and basic front-end adjustments to ensure responsive, user-friendly interfaces. The individual will collaborate with designers, marketers, and senior developers to implement website layouts, optimize site performance, and support ongoing content updates. Daily tasks include troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine site maintenance and backups, and ensuring compatibility across browsers and devices. The role also includes documenting work, following best practices in code and security, and contributing ideas to improve website functionality and user experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to debug issues, interpret requirements, and optimize website performance.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly document technical work.
Candidates should possess Business Planning awareness to align website features with client objectives and user needs.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple website updates efficiently.
Candidates should possess Sales and client-interaction skills sufficient to understand client needs and support proposals for web solutions.
Proficiency in WordPress (themes, plugins, basic PHP), HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is highly beneficial.
Knowledge of responsive design, SEO best practices, and website performance optimization is preferred.
A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.
Ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively on-site, and maintain a detail-oriented, quality-focused approach to development work.
