Job Summary Galaxy-RunIT-Ansible OpenShift Automation Engineer (100% Remote) 6+ Months Contract Video Interview Joining Date TBD Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain reusable Ansible Collections, playbooks, roles, and custom modules.
Engineer and manage OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) 4.x environments, including installation, upgrades, and configuration.
Develop and maintain Helm v3 charts and GitOps manifests for automated deployment.
Integrate Ansible automation with OpenShift GitOps tooling and Advanced Cluster Management (ACM).
Provision, configure, and support Windows VM workloads using KubeVirt and virtualization drivers.
Write scripts and runbooks in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for system administration tasks.
Troubleshoot issues related to OpenShift, networking, storage (Ceph/ODF), and automation solutions.
Author and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, SOPs, cluster diagrams, and security checklists.
Participate in CI/CD pipeline development using tools like Argo CD, Jenkins, GitLab, or OpenShift Pipelines.
Work with bare metal provisioning, networking, and storage in complex, mission-critical environments.
Support automation orchestration using tools like Rundeck (preferred).
Collaborate with team members to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise container and automation solutions.
