Senior Project Manager - Development | Infrastructure

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager - Development to strengthen our Infrastructure team in Sydney. Your main responsibilities will be:
Project development – identifying scope of works / project requirements based on client needs including business case development and securing project funding
Stakeholder coordination – identification of stakeholders, liaison with all parties to capture all relevant issues, inputs and restrictions that may affect project outcomes.
Procurement Coordination - including contract drafting, tender preparations and management, bid analysis and contract awards for consultants and contractors
Approvals & Planning – Working with the wider project team to obtain the necessary approvals
Contract Management - Ensuring compliance with contract terms in delivery of the works for consultants and contractors, processing of payments, managing change.
Construction management – Control of the construction site management for the safe and compliant delivery of works in conjunction with consultants and safety advisors
Risk and issues management – Ensuring early identification of project risks and applying carefully considered mitigations to minimise occurrence of issues
Quality management – Through coordination of all parties to ensure adherence to expected quality for both the design and construction of the project
Cost and time management – Planning & forecasting project spend and delivery milestones
Minimum 10 years’ experience
Experience working in building construction ideal
Awareness of Australian building standards / codes
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects at various stages of delivery from design through to project close-out
Demonstrated experience managing multi-functional projects both financially and leading a team of project managers
Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced customer centric organisation
Experience in the development and delivery of projects in existing operational environments
Experience across a broad spectrum of disciplines (one or multiple):
Aviation
Water
Transport
Energy (Transmission and Renewable)
Civil infrastructure (earthworks and utilities)
